RAIL AND BUS SERVICES<br />
<strong>Port</strong> <strong>Colborne</strong> is served by Coach Canada<br />
three times a day on its Toronto to Niagara<br />
route. The stop is <strong>in</strong> Downtown <strong>Port</strong> <strong>Colborne</strong><br />
at K<strong>in</strong>g St. and Clarence St., and tickets can be<br />
purchased through local retailers. GO Transit<br />
provides regular service to Toronto through<br />
its GO bus service several times a day. The<br />
GO bus currently stops <strong>in</strong> St. Cathar<strong>in</strong>es and<br />
Niagara Falls. Daily rail service to Toronto is<br />
provided by Via Rail through tra<strong>in</strong> stations <strong>in</strong><br />
St. Cathar<strong>in</strong>es and Niagara Falls. Amtrak also<br />
serves <strong>the</strong>se stations with daily rail service to<br />
New York <strong>City</strong>.<br />

COMMUNITY INTRODUCTION<br />
PORT COLBORNE TRANSIT<br />
<strong>Port</strong> <strong>Colborne</strong>’s transit service is comprised <strong>of</strong><br />
a local community bus which operates with<strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>Port</strong> <strong>Colborne</strong> from 8 am - 5 pm Monday to<br />
Friday and a l<strong>in</strong>k service to Welland which<br />
provides three trips per weekday between<br />
<strong>the</strong> two communities. The two routes with<strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>Port</strong> <strong>Colborne</strong> service all major residential<br />
areas with<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> urban area, and <strong>in</strong>clude stops<br />
at shopp<strong>in</strong>g centres, downtown, <strong>the</strong> public<br />
library, and recreation dest<strong>in</strong>ations. The l<strong>in</strong>k<br />
service to Welland <strong>in</strong>cludes stops at shopp<strong>in</strong>g<br />
centres, Niagara College, and <strong>the</strong> Welland Bus<br />
Term<strong>in</strong>al, where regional transit to<br />
St. Cathar<strong>in</strong>es and Niagara Falls can be<br />
accessed start<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> 2012.<br />
