PLATESCAN 4 – Multi Probe Manual Plate Tester
Test head raised 100% indexed 50% indexes
Tests essentially to plate extreme edges using
idler wheels.
Test head rotate facility enables scan index to
be adjusted.
A manually operated ultrasonic plate testing
trolley
Excellent manoeuvrability for different scan
patterns
Standard type A test heads with a single 4
probe block for scan indices from 10 to 75mm
per probe.
Optional type B test heads with 4 individual
probe holders for scan indices up to 150mm per
probe
Replaceable steel wear shoe (s).
Multiplexed operation for four probes using
optional 4 channel Mux1 Multiplexer
Fifth probe facility enables localised scanning to
be undertaken
Optional 8 probe test head and 8 channel Mux2
multiplexers are also available. P.O.A
8 litre water reservoir with on/off valve.
Mounting for ultrasonic flaw detector.
