MULTIBAND TRIMLINE VEHICULAR ADAPTER
(TVA)
The Falcon III ® RF-300M-TV is a multiband, low-profile,
50-watt Trimline Vehicular Amplifier (TVA) based on the
advanced system architecture of the AN/VRC-110 VAA . The
TVA is designed for use with Falcon III Type-1 handheld radios .
Its space–saving, low-profile design allows for installation in
vehicles that lack the space needed for typical power amplifiers,
and can create room in vehicles that have large amplifiers
installed . The TVA uses the same ancillary devices and cables
as the AN/VRC-110 .
The single channel TVA provides 50 watts from 30 to 90 MHz,
20 watts from 90 to 512 MHz, and 50 watts in SATCOM
bands . Featuring separate VHF, UHF, and SATCOM ports combined
with automatic port switching, the TVA provides true
multimission capability . The operator can switch between
ground, ground-to-air, and SATCOM simply by selecting the
desired preset on the radio .
Multiple mounting options are available . The TVA can be hard
mounted or placed in a MT-6352 SINCGARS shock mount
(mount not included) . The handheld radio is placed In the
Handheld Remote Control Unit (HHRCU) and can be mounted
up to 15 feet from the amplifier .
