VULOS (VHF/UHF/Line-Of-Sight)
Line-Of-Sight (LOS), SATCOM and Beacon
The AN/PRC-152(C) can be programmed manually or via
Communications Programming Application (CPA) with up to
100 nets, including LOS, SATCOM or Beacon data . The radio
can be configured to support multiple COMSEC types and
modulations per waveform .
SINCGARS
The AN/PRC-152(C) has SINCGARS capability, meeting
MIL-STD-188-241-1 (ICOM Mode 2/3), Mode 1, and SIP/ESIP
specifications for voice/data transmission . The radio is interoperable
in voice and SDM and EDM data modes . It performs
TX/RX HOPSET, ERF, Cold Start, and OTAR, storing up to 25
TSKs and 25 TEKs for programming up to 100 SINCGARS nets .
Additionally, the radio has master or member selection, Late
Net Entry (LNE), F-NET changing, and CUE functions . GTOD
can be entered manually, via LNE, or via external PLGR or
NMEA-183 device . SC or FH retransmit is accomplished
utilizing two AN/PRC-152(C) radios and a retransmit cable .
Havequick (HQ) I/II
Features/Modes
The AN/PRC-152(C) can be programmed manually or via
CPA with up to 100 HQ I/II nets, including WOD, MWOD,
FMT, and HQ I/II Active Net data . The radio can receive HQ
Time-of-Day from an external PLGR or DAGR device, or RX/TX
TOD “Mickey” using the Keypad/Display Unit (KDU) menus .
While in HQ mode, the radio can be programmed to monitor
a GUARD channel . The radio supports Initial channel and Hop
channel switching .

(HPW) (Option)
HPW securely transfers large files on wide- and narrowband
dedicated SATCOM channels and line-of-sight (LOS) nets . The
HPW waveform is three to five times faster than many fielded
data systems . The waveform’s advanced techniques include:
over-the-air data rates of up to 64 Kbps LOS and 56 Kbps on
UFOWB SAT channels; error-free delivery using ARQ protocols,
with black side encryption; and automatic waveform adaptation
based on varying channel conditions . The radio’s PPP
interface connects to supplied PC port drivers . No external PC
card is required . 12041-7180-A006 PPP Data Cable required
for operation .
12041-8940-0011 | DAMA (Option)
The AN/PRC-152(C) DAMA option offers JITC-certified UHF
DAMA-SATCOM, including MIL-STD-188-182A (5KHz) and
MIL-STD-188-183A (25KHz) . The JTRS-approved AN/PRC-152
is the first SCA-compliant handheld radio to provide JITC certified
DAMA .

(Option)
This software-only waveform option provides the APCO-P25
waveform, enabling civilian interoperability across manufacturers
and between a variety of local and federal agencies . The
waveform includes analog and digital conventional (IMBE)
modes of operation in both the VHF and UHF P25 bands . P25
can be operated in either PT or with included Type III DES and
AES encryption .
