Quick Start Guide<br />
The ViewStream <strong>500</strong> (VS-<strong>500</strong>) Promo Pack ships ready to unpack and play with a CF<br />
card pre-loaded with 1080p video content.<br />
The output of the player has been pre-set for <strong>HD</strong>MI 1080p displays.<br />
Step 1 : Unpack the VS-<strong>500</strong> <strong>Player</strong> and supplied cables.<br />
Step 2 : To make the most out of the VS-<strong>500</strong> capabilities connect your display using a<br />
<strong>HD</strong>MI cable.<br />
Step 3 : Make sure all the dip switches (SW1 on reverse of unit) are pushed to the UP<br />
position.<br />
Step 4 : Connect Power Supply.<br />
Step 5 : Power on the unit using the switch on the back of the player.<br />
The content will auto-play after initial 30 seconds startup.<br />

Copy & Play<br />
• Simply remove the CF card and use your PC / Mac to copy and paste the new video file(s) to the CF Card <strong>Media</strong> folder. Files will<br />
play in alph-numeric order.<br />
• You can also use our easy-to-use software - <strong>DV</strong>-Studio to drop content into and create simple playlists. With a built in media<br />
converter - it’s a fast way to get your displays set up. www.dvsignage.com/using-dv-studio<br />
• Allow for the system to startup and the new video will start playback automatically.<br />
