You are allowed to read higher level courses provided that you have met the pre-requisites and there are vacancies available. Pre-requisites may also be met through exemptions. 5. The locations of the Mathematics Labs are as follow. Mathematics Lab COMP LAB 1 COMP LAB 2 COMP LAB 3 Location SPMS-MAS-03-02 SPMS-MAS-03-03 SPMS-MAS-03-04 6. Students with Admission Year 2010 and before must clear MPS812 by this semester. 7. Students with Admission Year 2010 and earlier who have not completed MTH110 should register for MH1400 - Algorithms and Computing I and MH1401 - Algorithms and Computing II. 8. Students who will be taking PAP319 in AY2012/2013 Semester 1 are to email their preferred groups to Ms Lim See Har – MSHLim@ntu.edu.sg with their name, study year and matriculation number before the add/drop period starts. 9. Students with Admission Year 2012 who are not allocated with Core Courses after they matriculate online may write in to SPMSUndgrad@ntu.edu.sg 10. Students with Admission Year 2012 who are intending to take up higher level courses whereby the pre-requisites are fulfilled through exemptions are to write in to SPMSUndgrad@ntu.edu.sg. Exemptions will only be updated after the add/drop period and will only be reflected at the end of the semester, together with semester results release. 11. Students who are interested may take graduate courses as prescribed electives or unrestricted electives. A minimum CGPA of 4.00 is required for the application. Students will be required to fulfill at least 10 AU of level 4 [excluding PAP491 Final Year project (10 AU) or PAP493 Industrial Internship II (10 AU)] and above courses as part of their graduation requirement under Major PE. Graduate course information may be found from http://www.spms.ntu.edu.sg/PAP/Graduates/CourseInformation.html . The application form is obtainable from http://www.spms.ntu.edu.sg/PAP/Default.html . These are the graduate courses offered in AY2012/2013 Semester 1: PAP710: Concepts in Statistical Mechanics. PAP711: Graduate Solid State Physics PAP731:Optical Spectroscopic Techniques Please note that PAP711 is mutually exclusive with PAP442; PAP710 is mutually exclusive with PAP451.
