Monitoring Performance<br />

Over the course of the first <strong>Equality</strong> <strong>Scheme</strong>, <strong>NHS</strong> <strong>Greater</strong> <strong>Glasgow</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Clyde</strong><br />

has been aligning performance management of the <strong>Scheme</strong> to the organisation’s<br />

performance management <strong>and</strong> governance arrangements. In light of this, the requirement<br />

of each part of the system to nominate <strong>Equality</strong> Leads (as detailed in the 2006-2009 <strong>Equality</strong><br />

<strong>Scheme</strong>) has been removed as part of a planned progression towards mainstreaming<br />

inequalities activity <strong>and</strong> accountability.<br />

The table overleaf summarises the organisational arrangements for performance<br />

management of the <strong>Equality</strong> <strong>Scheme</strong> that are in place in 2009 <strong>and</strong> which will be continued<br />

over the life of the <strong>Equality</strong> <strong>Scheme</strong><br />

2010 -13.<br />
