plug the Chamber’s annual Brew
Fest. It will be held the evening
of June 8 th and the afternoon of
June 9 th . Mark your calendars,

From what I’ve read over the
last couple of days, it sounds like it
may be a long, hot summer here in
Lander. West Nile carrying mosquitoes
have officially arrived; the
grasshoppers (at a magnitude of
100 per square yard!) are soon to
follow; and municipal water users
are already being asked to conserve
water. In other words folks,
buy yourself a case of bug spray,
stock up on car wash tokens to get
rid of the grasshopper guts you are
about to endure, and roast your
s’mores over the fire soon before
the campfire bans begin.
Don’t let me get you down. Of
course summer in Lander also
means a fabulous Fourth of July
celebration, summer concerts in
the park, the Farmers Market,
hikes to the falls, visits to the ice
cream shop, golf, baseball, and so
much more! Think Local, enjoy
all that Lander has to offer, and
appreciate the tourists and events
that bring a boost to our local
economy.
Once again, don’t forget to
utilize your valuable Chamber
benefits: update your member
profile on our website, drop off
some business cards or coupons,
and post a “Hot Deal.” The summer
tourists are a-comin’ and they
need to know about your business
and what you have to offer.
