Lorielle Morton is a Chamber Board Member I was born and raised in Lovell, Wyoming and spent most of my youth there before moving to Missoula, Montana after my freshman year of high school. I eventually fell in love with Missoula and stuck around long enough to receive my bachelors in accounting from the University of Montana. After graduation, I started my career in public accounting with McKee, Marburger & Fagnant, P.C. My husband and I loved Lander and both of us felt very settled in the community, however, we were expecting our first child and felt the pull to be closer to our families (in Montana). We moved to Billings where I worked for a large regional public accounting firm. I enjoyed my time there and worked with a broad range of clients and continued to specialize in the area of tax. In the meantime I earned an MBA from the University of Wyoming, passed the CPA exam, Jade earned a Master’s Degree from Rocky Mountain College, and we welcomed our second daughter into the world. After a few busy years in Montana, we had the opportunity to move back to Lander. It was a difficult decision in terms of being away from our families again but an easy decision in knowing the type of community we were returning to and how much we loved it in Lander the first time around. The move back to Lander was three years ago now. We’re happily raising our two daughters here (3 and 6 years old) and we’re thrilled to be back. I am glad to be back with McKee, Marburger & Fagnant, P.C. where I am the tax manager and am able to serve many members of our wonderful community. We enjoy raising our daughters here, and we plan to continue taking advantage of all the great things Lander has to offer! New LRH CEO Lander Regional Hospital (LRH) announced recently that Stephen M. Erixon, FACHE, a veteran hospital administrator with more than 30 years of concentrated healthcare experience, will become its new chief executive officer (CEO) effective June 4. Erixon replaces Rebecca Brewer, who has served the hospital as interim CEO since November. "We are fortunate to have someone of Steve's caliber of experience and expertise leading Lander Regional Hospital into the future," said Don Bivacca, president of the National Division of LifePoint Hospitals(r) of which LRH is a part. "He has a proven track record of success in driving quality improvement, building strong relationships with physicians and staff, expanding service lines, and growing market share." According to Bivacca, Erixon comes to Lander Regional Hospital from Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, Minnesota, where he has served as interim CEO since January 2011. Previously, he was president and CEO of Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson, Missouri from 2006 to 2009; president and CEO of Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas from 1998 to 2006; CEO of Memorial Mother Frances Hospital in Palestine, Texas from 1996 to 1998; and CEO of Columbia Bay Area Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas from 1993 to 1996. He was also a hospital administrator for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) from 1987-1993. Erixon holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is Board Certified in Healthcare Management and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
