1945
Gloria Flynn Roberge: Dear Class of 1945, No—I
haven’t given up on you. We are now approaching our
65th Class Reunion from Berwick Academy. I truly
hope this finds you all well and that you are planning
now to be with us on September 24-26. Shortly I
will be applying a little pressure by phone. Looking
forward to getting in touch with all of you. Until then,
please make plans to be with us.
1947 and 1948
Leonard ’47 and Doris Keelty ’48 Cheney: We
have been well. Spend most of our time watching our
grandchildren play sports. Our first, Samuel, is going
into Bow High next September. Maddie, 12, is in the
seventh grade; Spencer, almost eight, is in the third.
They all play soccer for Seacoast. We haven’t visited
South Berwick for some time. Not having my sister
Lois and brother Dick on Butler Street, my brother
Thomas and Len’s sister Beverly Frasier help to keep us
informed. We want to say hi to all our friends wherever
they are. Best to all.
1950
Irma Rose Simpson: The Class of 1950 is celebrating our
60th reunion at Alumni Weekend in September 2010.

1952
Margaret Penney Rogers: Linn and I are doing fine
for old folks! I had both hips replaced and am doing
fi ne. We went to Branson, MO, for a week in April
and had a great time. Hoping to come home for a few
days this summer on our way to Newfoundland to visit
family. We’ve planned a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, in
November. I try to stay busy and still volunteer at the
hospital, but I had to quit bowling. We lost our camper
in a fi re, so there is no more camping anymore. No one
got hurt so we were blessed. Take care.
1955
The Class of 1955 is celebrating their 55th reunion at
Alumni Weekend in September 2010. Contact Kathryn

1958
Joyce McKay Delbo: Joyce and her husband are still living in New Jersey and love to show their
antique cars, mostly for local charitable organizations. She also continues with her artwork, mostly
painting portraits. (See portrait on left) Do you remember her drawings in the yearbook
Joyce Pinkham Parker: As I have been retired since 1995, I don’t have too much to say. I do take
art classes with Sallyann Kenney (Malcolm Kenny’s wife) and I enjoy that a lot. Other than that
I spend most of my time with my grown children (fi ve) and grandchildren (six) and now great
grandchildren (15). Oh yes, I have one great great-grandchild, MacKenzie. God is good to me and
allowed me to be here to see all of them and I am so thankful for that. I am hoping to get to Virginia
(my oldest daughter is there) some time this year and also to Pennsylvania to visit Cliff’s daughter’s
family there. I miss seeing them as we used to go there at least once a year, but travel is tough on
me because I can’t fl y anymore. Takes a day by train, but I’ll read a book. Hope all my classmates
are doing well. God bless you all.
1959
Marie Hammond: Hi to all! It was great to see everyone
last fall, and BA really had a nice reception for us. It was
nice to renew old friendships and to share the stories
of our lives. We were and still are a great bunch. I have
had a great year and still enjoy golf, friends, and a
wonderful family. We have a new great granddaughter.
My life is good, and I am thankful for every day. Hope
you are all well and hope to see you all again soon.
1960
George Gorman: George and his wife, Simone,
