An exciting Permanent Full-Time opportunity as a Health Systems Solutions Coordinator exists, reporting<br />
jointly to the Vice President, Medical Affairs and Health Systems Solutions and the Director, Health Systems<br />
Solutions and Virtual Care.<br />
Summary of Duties, but not limited to:<br />
Provides support to WCH and the VP Medical Affairs and Health System Solutions on writing,<br />
reviewing and interpreting policies in the field of Health Systems. .<br />
Works closely with internal and external contacts to support the working relationships maintained by the<br />
Director and VP at various levels within WCH as well as within government and industry.<br />
Works with other WCH staff, physicians and representatives of other agencies or stakeholder groups to<br />
support the work of the Institute.<br />
Provides regular support on preparing reports and presentations on topics relating to the work of the<br />
Institute.<br />
Assists in monitoring project plans, schedules, status reports and budgets as required.<br />
Actively monitors the health system environment and engages closely with the VP and Director on<br />
emerging system issues.<br />
Supports research grant applications and, in partnership with WCRI, assists in advancing Health<br />
System Solutions research within WCH.<br />
Prepares briefing notes as needed on policy documents, reports and statements relevant to health<br />
system solutions work within WCH.<br />
Drafts letters for the WCH Health System Solutions management and Executive Officers on health<br />
policy issues.<br />
Coordinates the activities, programs and projects of the Institute by providing administrative support for all<br />
projects of the Institute as required.<br />
Assists in planning and conducting research and knowledge translation projects related to WCH<br />
Health System Solutions activities<br />
Organizes committee meetings and prepares appropriate materials.<br />
Prepares issue oriented background papers for use and presentation by HSS management.<br />
Provides administrative support to the Health System Solutions team in response to external<br />
inquiries.<br />
Supports various committees related to Health Systems Solutions work.<br />

Qualifications/Skills:<br />
A Bachelor degree in a related field.<br />
Masters Degree in public policy or a related field preferred.<br />
1– 3 years experience with research, policy development and healthcare .<br />
Able to communicate complex information to decision makers and key stakeholders in a clear and concise<br />
manner.

driven, matrix environment.<br />
Experience in leading projects as assigned with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.<br />
Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with flexibility and adaptability.<br />
Expert level competence with MS Office and database applications e.g. Microsoft Project, Excel,<br />
Word, Power Point, PDF, Adobe.<br />
Strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve independently.<br />
Experience in Health Care setting an asset.<br />
