Year of the Rabbit
Camp Nikoti—Summer Youth Leadership Camp 2011, Asian
Adventure…Year of the Rabbit concluded on July 22 nd . 28
youth from Norman, Choctaw, Tecumseh, Shawnee, Little Axe
and surrounding areas participated in activities to strengthen
their leadership and teamwork skills, their physical endurance
(especially with all the triple digit temps!), and their cultural
identity. We had guest speakers, representing various departments
within the tribe, mentor our youth through activities
and presentations. Every day was filled with games, learning
sessions, guest speakers, arts and crafts, or field trips.

camp activities!

We Are Looking For Tribal Youth
Leaders!
We will be meeting once every month to
cover topics that interest our youth.
We will also become involved with
our communities by doing a variety of
community projects.
Our First Meeting for the 2011-2012 school
year will be August 27 th at 10:00 am in the
basement of Building #3.
We will provide refreshments at each
meeting!
