The nicest compliment we can receive is a personal<br />
referral from you. Remember, there is no charge for<br />
the initial visit. To thank you for your referrals we<br />
have started the “Raving Fans Club”. Each time a<br />
potential patient who was referred by you comes in<br />
for their initial visit, a “Raving Fan” card with your<br />
name will be entered into the box in our waiting<br />
room. Every 3 months a name will be drawn from<br />
the box. The winner will receive a gift certificate to a<br />
local restaurant. Keep smiling and tell your friends about us!<br />
Congratulations go out to Ann Burkot the winner of the Eagles<br />
tickets for Sunday, December 21st. We received<br />
71 entries and 47 of those entries<br />
picked the Eagles to win in both games.<br />
While no one guessed the correct scores of<br />
both games (Eagles 36 vs.<br />
Dallas 10, and Eagles 34 vs.<br />
Miami 27), the total score<br />
was 107 points. Ann’s score<br />
was 106, the closest without going over.

Kay Schlegel<br />
Sometimes insurance<br />
details can make a person<br />
crazy. Thankfully that person<br />
isn’t Kay Schlegel! Kay<br />
joined our staff in October<br />
1999 working diligently behind the scenes as the insurance<br />
coordinator. Just a keystroke away, Kay works<br />
from her computer at home and visits the office weekly<br />
to make sure things run smoothly.<br />
A Susquehana University grad, Kay and her<br />
husband, Jeffrey, enjoy vacationing and skiing with<br />
their sons Christian and Jonathan. Kay’s musical talents<br />
keep her active in the bell choir, she also enjoys<br />
singing and playing the flute.<br />

Meet Melissa, an assistant at<br />
<strong>Reading</strong> <strong>Orthodontic</strong> group<br />
since December of 1999.<br />
Missy’s warm smile and positive<br />
attitude make her popular with<br />

Melissa is keeping busy planning her upcoming<br />
nuptials with fiancé, Andy Hartman. Don’t you think<br />
Missy Hartman has just the right “ring” Pardon our pun.<br />
A Spring 2005 wedding is in the works. She is also attending<br />
North Hampton Community College. Missy fills<br />
her spare moments by working out and relaxing with<br />
Quinton and Monique, her furry friends.<br />

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:<br />
How does insurance work When a patient gets started in<br />
treatment we fill out a standard insurance form with both the orthodontic<br />
and financial information. On the day the braces or appliances<br />
are placed we mail you this form to complete and sign. You will then<br />
forward this form to your insurance company. Your orthodontic benefits<br />
will go directly to you. There are a few exceptions. If you should acquire or switch insurance<br />
at any point during treatment please let us know. Also, if there is a change in the<br />
employer of the insured or if the same employer changes plans, please let us know.<br />
What are “flex” plans Sometimes your employer will allow you to save part of<br />
your untaxed income to be used for medical or dental purposes. Many times this money<br />
must be used or lost. To enable you to get money from your flex plan you may ask us for a<br />
copy of your receipts to turn in to your employer for reimbursement.<br />
