2. Resolution – Collective Negotiations Agreement Addendum #1
Motion to approve the following Resolution for the Collective Negotiations
Agreement Addendum #1 between NWRBOE and the NWREA.
WHEREAS, the North Warren Regional School District Board of Education
(hereinafter referred to as the “Board”) and the North Warren Regional Education
Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) (hereinafter collectively
referred to as the “Parties”) are parties to a collective negotiations agreement for the
2012-2013 through 2014-2015 school years (hereinafter referred to as “the
Agreement”);
WHEREAS, the Agreement sets forth, within Article VI, a Salary Guide for all
Extra-Curricular and Athletic Advisorship positions for each of the 2012-2013, 2013-
2014 and 2014-2015 School Years;
WHEREAS, the Parties have agreed to the addition of five (5) paid Extra-
Curricular and Athletic Advisorship positions effective with the 2013-2014 school
year; and
WHEREAS, the Parties are desirous of modifying Article VI of the Agreement to
reflect these additional positions; and
WHEREAS, the Parties agree to these amendments in the interest of facilitating
the negotiation of a successor CNA; and
WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the CNA to memorialize the parties’
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED that the terms, stipulations and
conditions as established in the Addendum to the collective Negotiations Agreement
between the Board and the Association, which is annexed to this Resolution, are
hereby adopted and approved by the Board. The Board President and Business
Administrator/Board Secretary are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
Addendum, and any other documents necessary to effectuate same.
