Nozzle Assembly<br />

The No. 46500A — ProMax Clip-Eyelet nozzle assembly<br />

combines a “snap-on” pipe connection with easy-to-install<br />

and replace patented “winged” spray tips for added versatility<br />

and a no-slip grip in wet conditions. A swivel-type ball nozzle<br />

body, with up to 56˚ of adjustability, allows you to quickly<br />

and accurately change the direction of the spray without<br />

disturbing the pipe connection. As a result, you can finely<br />

tune the spray alignment to minimize overspray.<br />

More clamping force — more inlet options<br />

Now available in four configurations with double clamp and<br />

enlarged inlet options, the ProMax Clip-Eyelet nozzle assembly<br />

offers added power and flexibility to economically<br />

satisfy your application needs.<br />

The double clamp nozzle assembly<br />

has the stability and clamping<br />

force required to sustain<br />

spraying pressures up to 150 psi,<br />

while a larger pipe inlet size of<br />

21/32" eliminates the need for<br />

retrofit seals. Both single clamp<br />

and double clamp nozzle assemblies are<br />

available with a choice of two inlet sizes for accommodating<br />

9/16" (14.5 mm) or 21/32" (17 mm) diameter drill holes.<br />

No tools needed for installation and removal<br />

Maintenance downtime is dramatically reduced with the<br />

ProMax Clip-Eyelet nozzle. With a simple quarter turn, tip<br />

installation and removal can be done by hand, in seconds and<br />

without tools. Easy tip removal allows quick inspection of the<br />

orifice and tip seal. Tip installation is effortless with a “snapin”<br />

feel due to a pawl located on the spray tip. Plus, a built-in<br />

internal stop ensures that the spray tip always locks into the<br />

correct position. <strong>Sp</strong>ray tips are automatically aligned with a<br />

10˚ offset to provide proper coverage. A standard TEFLON ® -<br />

coated VITON ® tip seal provides a positive seal between the<br />

ball and the tip. Since this seal remains attached to the tip,<br />

accidental loss or misplacement is prevented.<br />

ProMax material resists chemical attack<br />

<strong>Co</strong>nstructed of a chemically coupled, glass-reinforced<br />

engineering grade of polypropylene, the ProMax nozzle<br />

combines strength and durability for excellent chemical<br />

resistance. With the ability to perform at liquid temperatures<br />

to 180°F at 100 psi (82°C at 7 bar), the ProMax material is<br />

well suited for spraying phosphates, acids, solvents, and<br />

other caustics, as well as withstanding caking, clogging<br />

and build-up. ProMax nozzles are ideal for a variety of<br />

applications such as cleaning, rinsing, coating, and wetting.<br />

Providing an unmatched spray tip selection to ensure the right<br />

pattern for your application, the ProMax Clip-Eyelet nozzle<br />

accepts ProMax <strong>Quick</strong> VeeJet ® (flat spray pattern), ProMax<br />

<strong>Quick</strong> FullJet ® (full cone spray pattern), and ProMax <strong>Quick</strong><br />

WhirlJet ® (hollow cone spray pattern) spray tips, plus a<br />

wide variety of conventional nozzles when used with<br />

the threaded ball.<br />

The ProMax <strong>Quick</strong> VeeJet tips have six different angles with<br />

eight different capacities ranging from 1.0 to 7.0 gpm at<br />

40 psi (4.6 to 32.0 l/min at 4 bar).<br />

The ProMax <strong>Quick</strong> FullJet tips are available with standard<br />

angles with ten capacities ranging from .19 to 2.9 gpm at 40<br />

psi (.85 to 12.7 l/min at 4 bar). Also offered are wide-angle<br />

models with seven capacities ranging from .51 to 2.6 gpm at<br />

40 psi (2.3 to 11.5 l/min at 4 bar).<br />

The ProMax <strong>Quick</strong> WhirlJet tips are available with standard<br />

angles with capacities ranging from .10 to 3.0 gpm at 40 psi<br />

(.46 to 13.7 l/min at 4 bar). Wide-angle ProMax WhirlJet tips<br />

have four capacities ranging from 1.0 to 3.0 gpm at 40 psi<br />

(4.6 to 13.7 l/min at 4 bar).<br />

Clip-Eyelet ® Nozzle Assembly<br />

Designed to ensure easy installation and minimal maintenance<br />

downtime, the No. 20570 — Clip-Eyelet nozzle assembly<br />

simply snaps onto an existing header. The nozzle tip is then<br />

installed, aligned, and secured by twisting the cap — all by<br />

hand. The assembly is affixed to the header by a spring grade<br />

stainless steel clamp which fits a 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", or 2" pipe.<br />

Whether you’re removing the entire assembly or just changing<br />

a spray tip, you’ll save time with the Clip-Eyelet nozzle<br />

assembly. All of the assembly’s parts are designed for easy<br />

handling. They’re clearly marked for quick identification, fit<br />

snugly into place, align easily, and require minimal attention.<br />

Double clamp and large inlet options<br />

The standard Clip-Eyelet nozzle assembly offers greater<br />

flexibility with the addition of double clamp and larger<br />

pipe inlet designs.<br />

The double clamp configuration enables spraying operations<br />

to sustain pressures up to 150 psi while the larger pipe inlet<br />

size for 21/32" openings, eliminates the need for retrofit seals.<br />

Each assembly is available with single or double clamp<br />

configurations and a choice of two inlet sizes to accommodate<br />

9/16" (14.5 mm) or 21/32" (17 mm) diameter drill holes.<br />

Built to withstand high temperature and<br />

corrosion<br />

Along with convenience, the Clip-Eyelet nozzle assembly<br />

offers the consistent spray patterns, even coverage, and<br />

chemical resistance needed for effective cleaning, coating,<br />

and rinsing. Manufactured of glass-reinforced polypropylene,<br />

the nozzle assembly withstands high temperatures and resists<br />

corrosion. It can operate at liquid temperatures up to 180˚F at<br />

100 psi (82˚C at 7 bar) in the double clamp design.<br />

HP Eyelet Nozzle Assembly<br />

The No. 38625 — HP Eyelet is the first assembly of its kind<br />

that can be easily installed and removed by hand. The<br />

assembly’s hinged body only requires one screw for hand<br />

tightening to the spray header. The screw may be installed<br />

from either side of the assembly for easy access. It also<br />

remains attached to the assembly when loosened to eliminate<br />

the chance of loss or misplacement.<br />

The assembly features a square body for excellent stability.<br />

This helps prevent rotation when the retaining cap is removed<br />

or tightened. It operates at a maximum pressure of 125 psi<br />

(8.6 bar) and a maximum temperature of 180°F (82°C) —<br />

making it a good choice for metal pretreatment, food<br />

processing, electronics, chemical, and car/truck washing<br />

applications.<br />

Built to resist chemical attack<br />

The hinged body is molded of ProMax ® material, with a<br />

polyphthalamide cap, that combines strength and durability<br />

with chemical resistance. Plus, the smooth internal surfaces<br />

of the assembly resist scale and chemical build-up. The seal<br />

and O-ring are made of EPDM. A VITON ® seal and O-ring<br />

are optional.<br />

Easily retrofitted to existing piping systems<br />

Available for 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" pipe sizes, the HP Eyelet is<br />

designed to fit a 9/16" (14.5 mm) diameter predrilled pipe<br />

opening. The assembly can also be easily retrofitted to an<br />

existing system. Optional retrofit seals fit existing hole<br />

diameters of 21/32" (17 mm) or 27/32" (21 mm). For added<br />

convenience, the screw also accepts standard slotted head<br />

screwdrivers, #2 and<br />
