On Campus: Our Students’ Union
As a Queen Mary student,
you will automatically become
a member of the Students’
Union (QMSU). QMSU has
a presence across the three
main campuses: Mile End,
Whitechapel and Charterhouse
Square. QMSU aims to ensure
that your time at university is
not just about work, but also
socialising and personal
development.

Activities at QMSU
The Union is not just about entertainment and
commercial services. It should be your first port of
call to meet people, make friends and learn new
skills. We fund more than 150 sports clubs and
societies, so whether your interest lies in sport,
politics, history or conservation, the Union is the
place to make it happen. You can also volunteer
in the local community through Provide, our
accredited student volunteering programme.
