Queen Mary is central London’s only campus-based
university. We offer a great choice of courses
spanning the arts and social sciences, medicine
and dentistry, and science and engineering – from
law (LLB p180 ), economics (BSc p 86), English
literature (BA p 118) and politics (BA p248) to
medicine (MB BS p 222), dentistry (BDS p230),
mechanical engineering (BEng p108) and physics
(BSc p238), plus many more.
If you are drawn to more than one field then our
joint honours programmes offer a good opportunity
to build your knowledge in more than one discipline,
for example Business Management and French,
or Geography and Economics.
Most of our degree programmes are modular in
structure, which means you can take modules in
other schools as well as the core modules associated
with your degree. This flexibility means that you
can develop your interests and add to your skills.
Many students choose to learn a language.
Many of our degree programmes are accredited
by professional bodies, which means that your
qualification will be recognised by industry, or
lead to further specialised training opportunities.
For example, our BSc in Psychology (p258) is
accredited by the British Psychological Society
(BPS) as conferring eligibility for the Graduate
Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).
