GRAND OPENING CEREMONY<br />
On Thursday, May 9, 2013 <strong>the</strong> <strong>Clearwater</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong><br />
formally opened and dedicated <strong>the</strong> <strong>Clearwater</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong>’s<br />
Valerie Nisk Annex. The Annex is located at 705 N. Ft.<br />
Harrison Ave. and became part of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Clearwater</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong><br />
campus in December 2010 through a generous gift donated<br />
by Ronald & Alice Nisk, in loving memory of <strong>the</strong>ir daughter<br />
Valerie. The <strong>CFC</strong> board members, staff, and various city<br />
officials ga<strong>the</strong>red toge<strong>the</strong>r for a ribbon cutting and short<br />
presentation. <strong>CFC</strong> President, Bruce Livingston and <strong>CFC</strong><br />
board member, Stephen Bouton recognized and thanked<br />
<strong>the</strong> entire Nisk Family for <strong>the</strong>ir continued commitment<br />
to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Clearwater</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong> and <strong>the</strong> underserved in our<br />
communities.<br />
The Valerie Nisk Annex is a multipurpose facility that serves<br />
as an extension of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Clearwater</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong>, enhancing care<br />
and services provided to <strong>Clinic</strong> patients. New prospective<br />
clinic patients are qualified and introduced to clinic services<br />
at <strong>the</strong> Annex, which also provides office space and meeting<br />
rooms for patient education classes, and wellness programs,<br />
as well as an area for volunteer training and development.<br />
<strong>CFC</strong> SUMMER PEDIATRIC PROGRAM<br />
Through <strong>the</strong> summer months, school, camp and sports<br />
physicals will only be provided during <strong>the</strong> regular Pediatric <strong>Clinic</strong><br />
on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Pediatric<br />
sick visits will continue to be scheduled as needed throughout<br />
<strong>the</strong> week.<br />
