SporView ® Self-Contained Biological Indicator
An in-office Biological Indicator (BI) system certified for use with ALL steam sterilization cycles. This system gives clear, easy
to interpret results for monitoring the effectiveness of the sterilization process. Final results are known after only 24 hours
incubation in any compatible dry block incubator operating at 55°-60°C. SPSmedical offers a 55-60 o C dry block incubator that
comes with built-in vial crusher and 15 wells.
For new customers, a starter kit is available providing a dry block incubator,
record notebook, vial crusher, box of 25 BIs and a wall poster.

gives clear, easy to interpret results for monitoring the effectiveness of the sterilization process. Release non-implant loads
based on the STEAMPlus Sterilization Integrator while waiting for final BI results (legal documentation) after only 24 hours
incubation.
The Steam Sterilizer Monitoring Starter Kit provides everything needed for effective
monitoring of steam table top sterilizers. Each starter kit comes with SporView Self-
Contained Steam Biological Indicators (SCS-025), STEAMPlus Sterilization Integrators
(SSI-100), 3/4” Steam Indicator Tape (ST-048), 55-60 o C Dry Block Incubator (NDB-
060) and record notebook (RN-025).

SporAmpule ® Biological Indicator
An in-office Biological Indicator (BI) system ideal for monitoring liquid cycles and gravity steam sterilization cycles. This system
requires no crushing or activation and gives clear, easy to interpret results. Purple to yellow color change or visible turbidity of
a processed ampule indicates sterilizer failure. Final results are known after 48 hours incubation in any compatible dry block
incubator operating at 55°-60°C. For new customers, a starter kit is available providing a dry block incubator, record notebook,
and a box of 20 BIs.
