SporAmpule ® Biological Indicator<br />
An in-office Biological Indicator (BI) system ideal for monitoring liquid cycles and gravity steam sterilization cycles. This system<br />
requires no crushing or activation and gives clear, easy to interpret results. Purple to yellow color change or visible turbidity of a<br />
processed ampule indicates sterilizer failure. Final results are known after 48 hours incubation. For new customers, a starter kit<br />
is available with a dry block incubator, record notebook and a box of 20 BIs.<br />

EmPlus 270ºF Steam Emulator<br />
Steam indicator strips provide distinct color change when exposed to<br />
gravity, prevacuum and flash cycles. Eight inch strips can be used for<br />
larger packs, or torn in half at perforation for smaller packs.<br />
DUAL Monitor Strip is for use with Steam and EO Gas and reduces<br />
inventory, is error-free and saves money over single process indicators.<br />
Indicator ink turns dark brown in Steam and orange in EO Gas.<br />

The EmPlus 270ºF Steam Emulator is a Class 6 emulating indicator, as defined by ISO 11140-1: 2005. The wicking style technology<br />
provides a simple, accurate method of assuring that proper conditions for sterilization have been met during a specified steam<br />
sterilization cycle. Unlike color changing class 6 indicators which can delaminate and provide erroneous results under differing<br />
light conditions (artificial or natural), the processed EmPlus emulators are easy to interpret, stable and will not revert post<br />
processing. Results of testing show the <strong>SPSmedical</strong> EmPlus emulator is a safe, highly reliable and reproducible chemical indicator<br />
for the monitoring of prevacuum and steam-flush-pressure-pulse (SFPP) steam sterilization processes operating at 270°F/132°C<br />
for 4 minutes exposure time.<br />
