UA Facts<br />
• UA has the highest undergraduate graduation rate of any of<br />
Arizona’s universities.<br />

• Bear Down Gym was named after John “Button” Salmon, student<br />
body president in 1926, whose last words to the football team<br />

The Student Union<br />
The new 405,000-square-foot Student Union Memorial<br />

Leadership, <strong>and</strong> provides dining services (which includes<br />
13 different restaurants, ranging from national franchises<br />
<strong>and</strong> br<strong>and</strong>s to a variety of specialty restaurants), an art<br />
gallery, a convenience store, a copy center, a U.S. Post<br />
Office, video arcade <strong>and</strong> billiards room.<br />
In the Rankings<br />
U.S. News <strong>and</strong> World Report places the University of Arizona in<br />
the top 50 among all public universities, according to the latest<br />
rankings in America’s Best Colleges for 2009. The Magazine<br />
also ranked the UA’s Eller College of Management in a tie<br />
for 15th place among undergraduate business programs<br />
at public universities. The UA ranks in the top 10 of NASA<br />
grant recipients <strong>and</strong> is the first public<br />
university to lead<br />
a NASA mission<br />
