Tucson Temperature<br />
Tucson is renowned for its superb year-round weather. Warm <strong>and</strong> sunny<br />
throughout most of the year, the air is remarkably dry with a low relative<br />
humidity. It lies in the zone receiving more sunshine than any other section in the<br />
United States. The average high temperature is 81 degrees <strong>and</strong> the average low<br />
temperature is 54 degrees. With an average of 12 inches of rainfall <strong>and</strong> 86 percent<br />
sunshine, Tucson receives more than 50 percent of its rain during the months of<br />
July, August <strong>and</strong> September.<br />
The Sonoran desert provides a unique setting not to be found anywhere else in<br />
the world. Far from the Saharan s<strong>and</strong> dunes that most first-time visitors expect,<br />
the desert boasts a wide range of wildlife, vegetation <strong>and</strong> great mountain views.<br />
When the temperatures rise in the desert, it’s just a 40-minute drive to the top of<br />
