Beginnings: For Parents of Children Who<br />
Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing<br />

Provides treatment <strong>for</strong> families, couples and individuals struggling with attachment<br />
pain, behavioral challenges, relationship issues and marital difficulties.<br />
A private agency committed to promoting the well-being of children, adolescents,<br />
and families by providing holistic therapeutic services, child and family advocacy and<br />
community education.<br />
Maintains a private practice in WNC. Conducts seminars on Attachment throughout<br />
the US. Travels to the homes of families with children who suffer from Attachment<br />
Disorder, working with them <strong>for</strong> seven to ten days at a time, usually coordinating<br />
with a local Therapist <strong>for</strong> follow-up therapy.<br />
Audiology <strong>Resource</strong>s<br />
Offers parent coaching and works with children dealing with grief, trauma,<br />
attachment, boding issues. Accepts Medicaid.<br />
Per<strong>for</strong>ms a variety of audiological tests. Licensed distributor of hearing instruments /<br />
hearing aids.<br />
Provide valuable technical in<strong>for</strong>mation, emotional support, resources and referrals to<br />
parents and professionals. Services are free to parents in the state of North Carolina.<br />
