The Australian Practice Nurses<br />
Association (<strong>APNA</strong>) is the peak<br />
professional body for practice nurses<br />
working in general practice.<br />
There are an estimated 7000 plus<br />
nurses working within general practice<br />
with around 60% of general practices<br />
employing at least one practice nurse.<br />
Practice nurses are being allocated<br />
an increasing number of items in the<br />
Medicare Benefits Schedule in an effort<br />
to address the primary-care workforce<br />
shortages.<br />
Practice nursing is wide ranging and<br />
covers many specialist areas including;<br />
aged care, women’s health, men’s<br />

If you are using your own distiller settings,<br />
please ensure that the following options are<br />
adhered to:<br />
• PDFs must be supplied in high resolution.<br />
Choose ‘Press Optimised’ option in<br />
distiller or select ‘maximum’ quality in<br />
compression option.<br />
• Select 300 dpi as your target resolution<br />
for colour and greyscale images.Select<br />
2400 dpi for monochrome images<br />
• Files to be output in CMYK<br />
• RGB images and any Pantone colours<br />
must be converted into CMYK<br />
• All fonts must be embedded into<br />
document<br />
• If supplying ads with bleed, ensure<br />
crop marks are included on pdf with<br />
3mm bleed on all sides.<br />
Microsoft Word<br />
A $50 conversion fee will apply to any<br />
ads that are supplied in Microsoft Word.<br />

All artwork is to be mailed to <strong>APNA</strong> or if<br />
smaller than 5Mb in size can be emailed<br />
