Accreditation The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UCSF designates this educational activity for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) accepts all Category 1 Credit from organizations that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The total credits include .5 in breast ultrasound. SONOGRAPHERS This program is approved for AMA-CMA credit and will be accepted toward meeting the continuing education requirements of the ARDMS. Sonographers may report ECE points in Category A if they attend the entire program. NURSES For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.
