WT alums for Reunion Weekend. Always<br />

special, this year’s Reunion promises <strong>to</strong> be<br />

extraordinary. In addition <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> traditional<br />

Reunion events, not-<strong>to</strong>-be missed highlights<br />

include a special 125th Anniversary Lecture<br />

and Exhibition by alumna and world<br />

renowned artist<br />

performing arts<br />

To celebrate our<br />

birthday, WT’s gift <strong>to</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> city of Pittsburgh<br />

will be 125 trees <strong>to</strong> local parks. Middle School<br />

students will band <strong>to</strong>ge<strong>the</strong>r <strong>to</strong> plant trees<br />

in partnership with <strong>the</strong> Pittsburgh Parks<br />

Conservancy which is celebrating its own 15th<br />

birthday this year.<br />

His<strong>to</strong>ry Meets His<strong>to</strong>ry<br />

WT is honored <strong>to</strong> participate as <strong>the</strong> Pittsburgh<br />

Middle East Institute (PMEI) welcomes former<br />

Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize<br />

winner Dr. Henry A. Kissinger <strong>to</strong> Pittsburgh<br />

at PMEI’s fourth annual conference on<br />

Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 26, 2011, at <strong>the</strong> Carnegie Music Hall.<br />

WT students will unveil artworks inspired<br />

by Dr. Kissinger’s distinguished career in<br />

international relations and diplomacy and<br />

serve as volunteer ushers at this extraordinary<br />

community event.<br />

Home from College Luncheon<br />

Young alums home from college, along with<br />

o<strong>the</strong>r local young alums, are invited <strong>to</strong> visit<br />

with Upper School faculty and each o<strong>the</strong>r,<br />

at a festive WT birthday luncheon.<br />
