circuit. The other is the <strong>in</strong>jection locked coupled oscillator array us<strong>in</strong>g a unilateral<br />

coupl<strong>in</strong>g circuit.<br />

Chapter 7 is the discussion <strong>and</strong> conclusion. Further study of the SEHO <strong>and</strong> its applications<br />

are mentioned.<br />

In this dissertation, the pr<strong>in</strong>ciple of the SEHO is proposed <strong>and</strong> the basic behavior is<br />

confirmed us<strong>in</strong>g the MIC technology which is the basic manufactur<strong>in</strong>g of the micro<strong>wave</strong><br />

<strong>in</strong>tegrated circuit. Compared to the conventional harmonic oscillators, the high frequency<br />

millimeter-<strong>wave</strong> signal can be easily generated without filters, mixers, <strong>and</strong> amplifiers<br />

which were required <strong>in</strong> the conventional harmonic oscillators. The proposed oscillator<br />

pr<strong>in</strong>ciple is very effective to <strong>in</strong>tegrate these RF circuits which have some problems for the<br />

<strong>in</strong>tegration. While, the semiconductor technology is steadily progress<strong>in</strong>g. An InP HBT<br />

which generates hundreds of GHz millimeter-<strong>wave</strong> signal is developed. The THz signal<br />

which has been generated by optical devices will be generate by only the electronics circuit<br />

comb<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the semiconductor devices <strong>and</strong> the proposed pr<strong>in</strong>ciple <strong>in</strong> near future.<br />
