Rat oral LD50 [mg/kg] : >2000 mg/kg. No strain is known to induce any acute oral, dermal and inhalation<br />
toxicity, dermal irritation, eye irritation and skin sensitivity. Supplier records indicate that there are no<br />
incidences of respiratory illness or skin infection traceable to production cultures. No adverse health<br />
effects have been reported from the use of any <strong>Chrisal</strong> probiotic bacteria products. As an added<br />
safeguard, all production cultures are susceptible to a range of commonly used antibiotics.<br />

All bacteria used in <strong>Chrisal</strong> Ltd. products are beneficial bacteria that belong to the genus Bacillus and<br />
originate from the natural environment. No strains have been genetically altered in any way. All species<br />
are defined as ‘Class 1’, the lowest risk category, according to all International classification schemes,<br />
and none are considered pathogenic, nor ‘hazardous’, according to Council Directive 2000/54/EC.<br />
