Welcome to John Wayne Airport
John Wayne Airport (JWA) is owned and operated by the County of Orange.
It is the only commercial airport and one of two general aviation airports
in the county and is located approximately 35 miles south of Los Angeles,
between the cities of Costa Mesa, Irvine and Newport Beach.
DINING AND SHOPPING AT JWA
The Thomas F. Riley Terminal features fullservice
restaurants, quick sit down dining and
“Grab-and-Go” food along with a variety of
local and national brands, giving passengers
many choices for dining at the Airport.
Retail, news and specialty items can
be found in news and gift stores or along
the newswalls located throughout the
Riley Terminal. Specialty retail stores offer
an additional variety of Orange Countythemed
items and souvenirs/gifts.
While the majority of concessions are
located in the secure area of the Terminals
(only accessible to visitors with a boarding
pass), snack shops and news stores are also
available for all visitors on the Departure
(upper) Level near the ticket counter areas,
and in Terminal A Baggage Claim.
Starbucks Coffee

Starbucks offers a menu of handcrafted
beverages – including espresso-based
drinks, brewed coffees and Frappuccinos ®
– in addition to a variety of fresh pastries,
sandwiches and salads. Location (Terminals A,

California Pizza Kitchen
California-style cuisine offering globally
inspired flavors and quality ingredients with
signature hearth-baked pizzas, creative salads,
soups and sandwiches. This restaurant also
features a full-service bar. Location (Terminal

Zov’s Grab-and-Go

Passengers rushing to catch a plane can
find delicious gourmet baked goods at Zov’s
Grab-and-Go. For something light, try a yogurt
granola parfait or a toasted bagel. Illy coffee
is proudly served. Location (Terminal A):

McDonald’s/McCafé
The largest food-service organization in the
world offers its classic menu to travelers,
including hamburgers, French fries and shakes.
McCafé joins McDonald’s serving brewed and

Ruby’s Diner

Full-service restaurant offering delicious
burgers, crisp onion rings, fresh garden salads
and milkshakes. Ruby’s also offers breakfast
items such as cinnamon rolls and breakfast
burritos for early travelers. This restaurant

Farmer’s Market by Laguna Culinary Arts
offers travelers fresh soups and salads with
local California sourced ingredients. Menu
items change based on seasonal availability
and will always be fresh from the farm to table.

Ruby’s Diner To Go

Offers an abbreviated menu of items from
the full-service restaurant giving travelers
a selection of high-quality choices, such as
burgers, salads and shakes to go. Location

La Tapenade
Mediterranean Café

A café serving morning pastries and coffee,
and sandwiches with a Mediterranean flavor.
A convenient grab-and-go cooler nearby
offers a selection of pre-packaged, portable
menu items for the traveler with limited time.

A wine lounge that offers various wines from
around the world by the glass, in tasting
flights, and by the bottle. Customers can
purchase bottles of wine to take with them or
have them shipped. Appetizers and entrées are

The Hobie Sand Bar is a nice place to run
aground, featuring a fresh menu that offers
travelers a taste of California, including
salads, tacos and sandwiches. This restaurant

Gourmet hot dogs, cooked over a woodfired
grill to enhance the flavor. Diners simply
choose a hot dog and toppings – there
are 36 from which to choose. And there is

burgers and creamy hand-made milkshakes.
