That the application be approved subject to the following condition:-
1) Clauses 1 and 2 of the Third Schedule to the Planning Obligation
dated 7 January 1994 made between East Lindsey District Council
and Mr. D. R. Wilford and Mrs. S. J. Wilford are modified to read as
follows:
“The log cabins shall be occupied for holiday purposes only and shall not
be occupied as a person’s sole or main place of residence. The
owner/operator of the site shall maintain an up-to-date register of the
names of all owners/occupiers of accommodation on the site, and of their
main home addresses, and shall make this information available to the
Local Planning Authority upon request.”

Members received an application for the erection of 3no. micro scale wind
turbines to a height of 14.87 metres to the hub with a blade span of 5.6
metres (maximum height of 17.77 metres with provision of underground
cabling) at Skegness Stadium, Orby Road, Addlethorpe, Skegness.
The application had been referred to the Planning Committee for
consideration at the request of Councillor Mrs. A. Smith.
The main planning issues for the application were considered to be:-
• The principle of the development
• The impact of the development upon the landscape
• The impact of the development upon residential amenity
• Flood risk
The Team Leader Planning, referred Members to an email that had been
sent from the Clerk of Addlethorpe Parish Council explaining that they had
not consulted on the application but felt that they should have been.
Members considered that it would be important to hear the views of the
Parish Council and it was therefore Proposed and Seconded that the
Application be Deferred to allow for further consultation on the
application.
