Reglement
1. DEELNEMERS
Cartoonisten uit alle landen van de wereld kunnen aan deze
internationale cartoonwedstrijd deelnemen.
2. AANTAL INZENDINGEN
Maximaal 8 cartoons per deelnemer.
Zowel originelen, computerprints, grafische druktechnieken en
goede kopieën zijn welkom.
Op verzoek worden originele prenten teruggestuurd.
3. AFMETINGEN
Cartoonafmetingen: maximaal A4 (19 x 28 cm)
De volledige naam en adresgegevens van de cartoonist dienen
aan de achterzijde van iedere cartoon te worden vermeld.

8. TENTOONSTELLINGSBOEK
Alle geselecteerde cartoonisten ontvangen de catalogus van het
17e festival gratis binnen 4 maanden na sluiting van de expositie,
of kunnen het boek tijdens de tentoonstellingsperiode ophalen.
9. COPYRIGHT
De geselecteerde cartoons mogen - tijdens en na afloop - van de
expositie worden gepubliceerd, slechts ter promotie van het
Nederlands Cartoonfestival en de individuele deelnemer.
Het copyright blijft te allen tijde bij de cartoonist.
10. VERZEKERING
Alle ontvangen en tentoongestelde werken worden verzekerd
voor de waarde welke door de cartoonist is aangegeven op het
inschrijfformulier. Indien de waarde niet is aangegeven worden
de cartoons voor een vast bedrag van € 40,- per stuk verzekerd.
BESTE DEELNEMERS
Na zestien Nederlandse Cartoonfestivals in o.a.
Amstelveen (5x), Hilversum (1x), Amsterdam (1x),
Eindhoven (7x) en Bergen op Zoom (2x),
heeft de Nederlandse Cartoonistenvereniging.
Bergen op Zoom als vaste standplaats gekozen.
Het aantal deelnemers bij de laatste officiële wedstrijd
(het 16e festival, 2009) was overweldigend:
Ruim 3000 cartoons uit 41 landen werden ingestuurd.
Door uw deelname was dit internationale festival van
grafische humor een succes.
We hopen opnieuw op uw vertrouwen en deelname
aan het 17e Nederlands Cartoonfestival.
De tentoonstelling wordt dit jaar gehouden
van: 10 april t/m 24 oktober 2011

Regulations
1. PARTICIPANTS
Cartoonists from all over the world are invited to participate in
this international contest.
2. NUMBER OF ENTRIES
A maximum of 8 cartoons from each participant is permitted.
Originals as well as computer prints, screen prints or good
quality photocopies are welcome.
Originals will be returned on request.
3. DIMENSIONS
Format: max A4 (19x28cm)
Each entry must state on the reverso of the drawing, the name
and address of the cartoonist.
4. THEME

8. CARTOON BOOK
Cartoonists whose work(s) have been selected will receive a
free sample of the exhibition catalogue a maximum of four
months after the closing date. Those attending can collect a
copy of the catalogue during the exhibition period.
9. COPYRIGHT
By participating the cartoonists give the right to the organizers
to publish the selected works during and after the exhibition, for
no other purpose than the promotion of the cartoonist and the
Dutch Cartoon Festival. The copyright of the works will always
remain with the cartoonists.
10. INSURANCE
The artworks received will be insured by the organizers, equal
to the value indicated by the cartoonist on the entry-form. If
the value of the cartoon is not indicated, the works will be
insured for € 40,- each.
DEAR PARTICIPANTS
After sixteen Dutch Cartoonfestivals successfully organized in
respectively Amstelveen (5x), Hilversum (1x), Amsterdam
(1x), Eindhoven (6x) and Bergen op Zoom (2x), the Dutch
Cartoon Association has chosen for the city of Bergen op
Zoom as its permanent residence. Every two year the Dutch
Cartoon Festival will be held in the Historical Centre Het
Markiezenhof.
In the last competition in 2009, more than 3000 cartoons
from 41 countries were received.
We would like to thank all those who entered last year’s
Dutch Cartoon Festival. Your participation helped to make this
international festival of graphical humour & art a great success.
We invite you to send in your cartoons for the 17th Dutch
Cartoon Festival.
We hope we can count on your support again this year.
