17. SP-Minnesota Power and Light Boswell Energy Center, Cohasset, Itasca County, Minnesota.<br />

As reported by Bob Anderson, similar to 2006, a pair of unidentified adults, female unbanded<br />

and male banded b/g, were present. They produced four eggs, two hatched, and two male<br />

young were banded.<br />

First year nesting attempted: 1993 Total young produced: 46.<br />

18. SP- Cargill Elevator, Red Wing, Goodhue County, Minnesota (aka Red Wing Grain Stack<br />

House Red Wing, Goodhue County, MN). Bob Anderson reports that nine-year-old female<br />

Husker b/r *M/D, here for at least the seventh year, paired with and unbanded male. Two<br />

female young were banded.<br />

First year nesting attempted: 2001 Total young produced: 18<br />

19. SP-Greysolon Plaza (aka Duluth Hotel), Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota. Bob Anderson<br />

and Julie O’Connor reported that female Amy b/g 82/C paired with an unbanded male. Four<br />

young, three females and a male hatched from the four eggs that were laid. One of the<br />

females, Kelly 96/C was found dead on the street at the end of July.<br />

First year nesting attempted: 2003 Total young fledged from this site: 14.<br />

20. SP-NSP High Bridge, St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota (aka: Xcel Energy Highbridge<br />

Plant). Bob Anderson, Raptor Resource <strong>Project</strong>, reports that four-year-old female Athena b/g<br />

01/D, paired with an unbanded male. They laid four eggs, hatched and fledged four young,<br />

one male and three females. They were banded on June 26, 2007.<br />

First year nesting attempted: 2000 Total young produced: 22<br />

21. SP-Cargill Elevator, Lake City, Wabasha County, Minnesota (aka: Horizon Milling, Lake<br />

City). Bob Anderson reports that peregrines nested here for the sixth year. Seven-year-old<br />

male Gretch K/U, back for the sixth year, paired with six-year-old female Lolo 29/A, here for<br />

the fifth year. Four eggs were laid, four hatched, and one male and three females were<br />

banded.<br />

First year nesting attempted: 2002 Total young produced: 19<br />

22. SP-State Prison/University Bridge, St. Cloud, Stearns County, Minnesota. For the sixth year,<br />

a pair of peregrines nested in a box on the water tower at the state prison. The female is sixyear-old<br />

Rayne b/g 1/*W, fledged in 2001 at Norwest Financial, Bloomington, Minnesota<br />

and the male is six-year-old Rocky b/g 84/H, fledged in 2001 at NSP King, Bayport,<br />

Minnesota. Three young fledged, one male and two females, unbanded due to access<br />

restrictions.<br />

First year nesting attempted: 1994 Total young produced: 16<br />

23. SP-Champion International Paper Mill, Sartell, Stearns County, Minnesota. For the fifth year,<br />

Rick Fern, plant safety supervisor, watched the peregrines at this site. Returning for the third<br />
