Ohio, and her<br />
husband, Derek, became the parents of a baby boy named Wesley<br />
Michael. “He has been the greatest thing in our lives and we cannot<br />
imagine life without him.”<br />
2000’s<br />
Jennifer Anderson, Class of 2000, Avon, Ohio, recently completed<br />
her MBA at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case<br />
Western Reserve <strong>University</strong>. In June, she took over ownership of<br />
Coco Press LLC. She moved its inventory and headquarters from<br />
Cleveland’s eastside to Avon, Ohio. She is president and CEO of<br />
the company, which publishes and distributes Story Line journals<br />
and stationary products. Recently, Coco Press unveiled its<br />
new web site, www.cocopress.com, and is planning many more<br />
developments in the future. Jennifer and her husband of 13 years,<br />
Christian, have four children.<br />
Herriott Brandon, Class of 2000, Toledo, Ohio, writes “After<br />
7 years as Clubhouse Manager at Shawnee Country Club, I have<br />
decided to cut my teeth with a brand new restaurateur group in<br />
our first venture, Rouge Bistro (6060 Renaissance Place, Toledo).<br />
It is upscale dining at its best and we hope to open our second<br />
restaurant in the next two years. Hopefully I will be looking for<br />
some graduates from the Hospitality Management program at TU<br />
very soon.”<br />
Chris Barbuto, Class of 2001, and Hilary French Barbuto, Class<br />
of 2002, Heath, Ohio, announced the birth of their new baby girl,<br />
Talia, born in June. Chris is a Detective for the Licking County<br />
Sheriff’s Office and Hilary works in the Advertising Department for<br />
the Newspaper Network of Central Ohio.<br />
Debbie Sidol, Class of 2001, North Olmsted, Ohio, recently completed<br />
the Virginia Double Iron Triathlon. After competing in several<br />
half and full Ironman Triathlons, Debbie said she was ready for<br />
doubles--the Virginia Double Iron Triathlon. The 45-year-old North<br />
Olmsted resident swam 4.8-miles, biked 224 miles and ran/walked<br />
52.4 miles over 36 hours at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania,<br />
Virginia, in October. It was quite a feat for Sidol, who weighed 230<br />
pounds six years ago and couldn’t walk 10 minutes on a treadmill.<br />
Sidol, 5-2, currently weighs 150 pounds<br />
Debra Beckley-Reamer, Class of 2002, <strong>Tiffin</strong>, Ohio, is Director of<br />
Human Resources at St. Francis Home, Inc. She and her husband,<br />
Steve, have two children--Joe (a junior in college), and Samie Jo, (a<br />
high school senior).<br />
Rod Daniel, Class of 2003, Woodmore, Ohio, recently accepted a<br />
position in special education with the Woodmore School District.<br />
Daniel is a graduate of the <strong>University</strong> of Findlay and has begun to<br />
work on his master’s degree at the <strong>University</strong> of Findlay.<br />
Ruth Highlander Watson, MCJ 2004, Bellevue, Ohio, was married<br />
in 2006. She is employed by the Seneca County Department of Job<br />
and Family Services.<br />
Jamie Nichole Wells Wilson, MCJ 2004, New Alexandria, Ohio,<br />
started a position with the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School<br />
as Criminal Justice Instructor for juniors and seniors.<br />
Deputy Chief John C. DeCarlo, MCJ<br />
2005, Branford, Connecticut, was appointed<br />
to Police Chief of the Branford<br />
Police Department. DeCarlo began<br />
his career with the Branford Police<br />
Department as a part-time patrol officer<br />
in 1977. In 1978, he joined the<br />
department full-time. Shortly after,<br />
he started training with the State<br />
Bureau of Identification, becoming a<br />
finger print expert. DeCarlo achieved certification as a crime scene<br />
technician in 1981 and was promoted to the detective division.<br />
Anthony Dworznik, Class of 2005 and Erica Smith, Class of<br />
2005, were married in May. Anthony is currently employed by<br />
Crimcheck.com, and Erica is employed by PrincetonOne as a Technology<br />
Specialist.<br />
