<strong>Raising</strong> <strong>Voices</strong> works <strong>to</strong> prevent violence against women and children. We develop<br />
program <strong>to</strong>ols and work in partnership with community-based non-governmental<br />
organisations <strong>to</strong> strengthen violence prevention programs and advocate for broader<br />
use of social change approaches.<br />

UNIFEM is the women’s fund at the United<br />
Nations. It provides financial and technical<br />
support <strong>to</strong> innovative programs and<br />
strategies that promote women’s human<br />
rights, political participation and economic<br />
security. The prevention of violence against<br />
women is a UNIFEM priority area.<br />
ActionAid Uganda works with poor and<br />
marginalised people <strong>to</strong> eradicate poverty<br />
by overcoming the injustice and inequity<br />
that causes it. <strong>Prevent</strong>ion of genderbased<br />
