forensic psychiatrist with <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> Law <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> Mental Health Program at <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> Centre of<br />

an expert <strong>on</strong> violent crime <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> has lectured, <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> worked with, criminal justice<br />

agencies internati<strong>on</strong>ally, including <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> FBI, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> U.S. Department of Homel<str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

Deborah Sinclair, MSW, RSW<br />

Ms. Sinclair is a social worker with an independent practice in Tor<strong>on</strong><str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>. She has<br />

been involved in clinical work <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> training in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> area of domestic violence for<br />

over 30 years. She has provided workshops <strong>on</strong> violence, trauma <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> vicarious<br />

trauma across Canada <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> US. Ms. Sinclair has been involved in writing <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

developing educati<strong>on</strong> programs for police, child protecti<strong>on</strong> workers <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> crisis<br />

workers across <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> country. She is a founding member of <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> Ontario Chief<br />

Cor<strong>on</strong>er’s Domestic Violence Death Review Committee, which is <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong>ly<br />

committee of its kind in Canada.<br />
