PRESIDENT’S COLUMN
This will be an unusually short column, as I am sitting at
our kitchen table in Rose City on
vacation without a computer. I
will have to ask the editors to
type this for me, and I know that
won’t make them happy.
Last Saturday we had our annual
“Beef Cookout” and what a nice
turn out we had too. The Beef
party is like Multi-Lakes lets me
throw a bash for 150 of my
friends, with fresh beef slow
roasted over a cherry wood open
fire, adult beverages, music and dancing and about all the
fun that can be had. I really enjoyed watching that many
members and guests let loose and have a good time.
Don’t forget August 25 th & 26 th , we all need to pitch in and
help both at the ALL DAY Workbee on Saturday to set up
and prepare for Good Old Days on Sunday, then we will
need ALL of our members, old members and new
members to work together to make this event a success.
Good Old Days is the largest single project we have
where the whole world is invited to our club for a day of
fun, so we need to work extra hard to make the whole club
look like a place people would want to belong to.
Thanks to all of you, the members, who make Multi-Lakes
work as well as it does.
