Give your children a fun opportunity to nurture a servant's heart
as they reach out to people in need. They will discover many
different ways to take care of people in the world, community
and our own backyard. Ages/grades reflect 2012-13 school year.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Three weeks:
June 3-6 (PK)
June 10-13 (PK– Gr. 3)
July 8-11 (K-Gr. 5)
All weeks: 9:30 AM - Noon // Cost before May 15: $40
Cost after May 15: $45

mission project for this year! Please note: Registration for each
session will close seven days prior to its start date. Ages/grades
reflect 2012-13 school year. Middle School, High School and
Adults volunteers needed!
VBS Needs Volunteers
Volunteers are still needed to lead small groups and assist with
crafts, snacks, games, storytelling, or simple science experiments.
All leaders are expected to attend one of the following
VBS Leader orientations:
May 29 @ 9:30 am or 6:30 pm
June 26 @ 9:30 am
July 7 @ 6:30 pm

Children Sing on May 12 in Worship
PK-Grade 5 children are invited to come with their parents to
worship at 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00 am in the sanctuary. They will
provide special music "Our God is a Great Big God."
All children are invited to bring their lambs as we launch our
summer Children in Worship program, Green Pasture Moments.
GodZone is our education program for children PK-Grade 5.
Registration for 2013-14 begins June 23.

WAPO Summer Camps
A WAPO One-Day Opportunity
Thursday, June 20 // 7:45 AM - 6:30 PM
Camp Wapo, Amery, WI // Cost: $30
Drop off & Pick up at SOTV
Children in Grades 2-5 who aren’t able to attend the weekend
or full week camp are invited to participate in one day of camp
activities to get an idea about what it is all about. First graders
are invited to attend too!
Confirmation (Grades 6-9)
Confirmation ended for the year on Wednesday, May 1.
Registration for 2013-14 begins June 23.
9 th Graders & Parents: A letter will arrive at your home soon
regarding info on the Rite of Confirmation. Students who have
not yet scheduled a one-on-one conversation should do so soon.

Middle School (Grades 6-8)
Summer Stretch
Tuesdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM // Session I: June 11, 18, and
25 // Session II: July 9, 16, and 23 // Valleyfair: Tuesday,
July 30 // Cost: Sessions I & II: $50, Valleyfair: $35
A mix of service and recreational activities will stretch and grow
your faith and friendships! Students must participate in at least
one session to go to Valleyfair.
High School (Grade 9-12)
Panera Before School (PBS)
Mondays, 6:30 - 7:00 AM until June 3. No meeting on
Memorial Day, May 27. Cost: Free (bring money for breakfast)
Join us at one of two locations: Apple Valley Panera (Cedar & CR
42) or Eagan Panera (Promenade Place) for food, a devotion, and
prayers. We will make sure you get to school on time!
High School Bonfires
Wednesdays, 8:00 - 10:00 PM // June 12 -July 31 (no Bonfire
July 3) // Cost: Free, No registration necessary
Enjoy summer evenings with friends around the bonfire! Camp
songs, faith conversation, "play" time, and s'mores are all part of
the night. In case of bad weather, festivities will move indoors.
