SHRI RAJENDRA V. ARLEKAR, HON'BLE SPEAKER<br />
made obituary references <strong>to</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>gs-<br />
(1) Shri Jais<strong>in</strong>ghrao V. Rane, ex-MLA of the First <strong>Legislative</strong><br />
<strong>Assembly</strong> of <strong>Goa</strong>, Daman and Diu from Sattari Constituency, a<br />
veteran freedom fighter, social reformer and noted his<strong>to</strong>rian<br />
who passed away on 23 rd January,2012.<br />
(2) Shri Nars<strong>in</strong>hbhai Lallubhai Tandel, ex-MLA of the Fifth<br />
<strong>Legislative</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong> of <strong>Goa</strong>, Daman and Diu who passed<br />
away on is" January,2012.<br />
(3) Padma Vibhushan late Shri Mario Miranda, a legendary<br />
car<strong>to</strong>onist, an iconic genius artist whose dist<strong>in</strong>ctive and<br />
orig<strong>in</strong>al style of art and illustrations <strong>in</strong> their own <strong>in</strong>imitable<br />
style adorn books all over the globe, who passed away on 11th<br />
December,20 11.<br />
(4) Shri Narayan alias Nana Shirgaonkar, a renowned <strong>Goa</strong>n music<br />
teacher, harmonium player and bhajan artiste with an <strong>in</strong> depth<br />
knowledge of Indian Classical Music, who passed away on<br />
16 th December, 2011.<br />
(5) Shri Narendra Bodke, an em<strong>in</strong>ent journalist, poet, author and a<br />
literary critic <strong>in</strong> Marathi and Konkani Literature, recipient of<br />
the prestigious Maharashtra State Sahitya Parishad and the<br />
<strong>Goa</strong> Kala Academy Awards, who passed away on r: January,<br />
2012.<br />
(6) Renowned music maestro late Shri Anthony Gonsalves, an<br />
em<strong>in</strong>ent music composer and teacher and recipient of the<br />
prestigious Karmaveer Puraskar, who passed away on 18 th<br />
January, 2012.

(7) The Calvim -Aldona bus tragedy mishap result<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the death<br />
of six persons <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g four primary school children after a<br />
m<strong>in</strong>i bus plunged <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> Calvim river on 18 th February, 2012.<br />
(8) The tragic school bus mishap at Usgao caus<strong>in</strong>g the death of<br />
three persons <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g a school girl on s" March,20 12.<br />

6. INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSING OF<br />
THE GOA APPROPRIATION BILL, 2012(RELATING TO<br />
THE SUPPLEMENTARY DEMANDS FOR THE YEAR 2011-<br />
2012(SECOND BATCH).<br />
SHRI MANOHAR PARRIKAR, Chief M<strong>in</strong>ister moved for<br />
leave <strong>to</strong> <strong>in</strong>troduce the <strong>Goa</strong> Appropriation Bill, 2012. The leave was<br />
granted and the Bill was <strong>in</strong>troduced.<br />
SHRI MANOHAR PARRIKAR, Chief M<strong>in</strong>ister moved that<br />
the <strong>Goa</strong> Appropriation Bill, 2012 be taken <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> consideration.<br />
The motion for consideration of the Bill was put <strong>to</strong> vote and<br />
adopted.<br />
Clauses 2, 3, the Schedule, Clause 1, the enact<strong>in</strong>g formula and the<br />
long title were put <strong>to</strong> vote and adopted.<br />
