GUEST PASS
1. Rationale. To optimize the use and enjoyment of Foundation property and amenities for
Guests of Members in accordance with the following Foundation policies regarding Guests:
• A Member has the right to bring House Guests or local Guests to Pelican Bay to enjoy the
amenities with the Member.
• Each House Guest, thirteen years of age and older, using amenities unaccompanied by a
Member must carry a Guest Pass.
2. Requirements. Guests will be requested by the Foundation Staff to strictly adhere to
Foundation policies, rules and regulations.
2.1. A House Guest is a Guest staying with a Member or an Out Of Town Guest of a
Member.
2.2. Each House Guest is required to carry a Guest Pass at all times while using Foundation
property and amenities unless accompanied by a Member.
2.3. Guest Pass holders cannot bring a Guest.
2.4. Guests (a maximum of seven) accompanied by a Member are not required to have a
Guest Pass, with the exception of the tennis and fitness centers, where all House Guests are
required to have a Guest Pass.
3. Eligibility. An individual, thirteen years and older, who is a House Guest of a Member or a
Tenant is eligible to receive a Guest Pass.
4. Specifications for Guest Passes.
4.1. A Guest Pass must be requested by a Member or a Tenant. Guest Passes will not be
issued when the total number of previously issued Guest Pass days exceed thirty within any
twelve month period for that named Guest except when a Member attests that a relative will
be staying in their unit as a House Guest for a length of time exceeding thirty days.
4.2. Members requesting a Guest Pass for a period exceeding 30 days must provide a written
request to the office of the President or designee.
4.3. A Guest Pass shall be issued for the exact length of the Guest’s stay (for a maximum of
30 days). A Guest Pass must be paid for before it is issued. Refunds will not be given for
Guest Passes that are not picked up.
4.4. The Guest Pass request form will contain the dates of stay, the Guest's first and last
name, the Member's (or Tenant's) name, and a signed statement that the Guest has read the
Foundation rule regarding violations.
5. Guest Pass Rights. A Guest Pass confers the right to use all Foundation amenities, subject

to applicable fees and Rules And Regulations of the Foundation.
6. Real Estate Broker/Salesperson Pass. A real estate broker or salesperson actively
representing an owner in Pelican Bay for the purpose of selling or renting Pelican Bay
property may be issued a Special Single Day Pass to the Foundation common areas. Such
Special Single Day Pass shall be strictly limited to the use of trams, boardwalks and
restaurants and may be utilized only for business purposes. This Special Single Day Pass
may not be transferred to any other person. All prospective buyers, or Tenants, and buyers
holding sales contracts for Pelican Bay property, must be accompanied by a real estate broker
or salesperson while viewing Foundation property.
7. Violations and Penalties.
7.1. A Member is responsible and accountable for rules violations of Guests.
7.2. A Member who violates any Pelican Bay Foundation Guest Pass Rule and/or
Regulation can be fined and/or suspended in accordance with the Governing Documents.
Violations provisions including:
• Acquiring a Guest Pass for an ineligible person (Section 3).
• Allowing a person other than the person designated to use a Guest Pass.
• Allowing a non-member to use a Member’s Membership Card.
• Use of an expired Guest Pass.
7.3. Members seeking Guest Passes in person or via the internet will be asked to read a
statement concerning violations and penalties and to sign a statement indicating they
understand and agree to them. The statement may be signed at the time of application if
made in person or at time of pickup. A place on the Guest Pass will indicate that the Member
or Tenant has signed the violation statement.
