Students must wear student identification badges at all times while on Western<br />
<strong>Health</strong>’s premises. Students engaged in clinical or pr<strong>of</strong>essional experience must<br />
dress in a manner approved by Western <strong>Health</strong> consistent with staff working in<br />
the same area. Western <strong>Health</strong> will not be obliged to provide uniforms but will<br />
provide at no cost protective garments for hygiene and infection control where<br />
required. Each student will be required to complete the Hand Hygiene Australia<br />
online Nursing/Midwifery competency and bring to the placement a certificate <strong>of</strong><br />
completion, on the first day <strong>of</strong> the placement (www.hha.org.au) along with their<br />
Police Check and Working with Children Check card.<br />
