Other Land: comprises all land that could not be given a distinct Sub Type, derelict<br />
land, urban and semi-rural grasslands, urban commons and small areas of urban<br />
green space (the majority of which has been created from former industrial or<br />
residential clearance). As such, the Sub Type is generally confined to urban or urban<br />
fringes<br />
Lowland: low-lying natural or semi-natural areas and rough grass landscapes<br />
Moss (Wetlands): lowland wetlands and peat<br />
Scrub: areas of rough grazing land, often partially improved<br />
Upland: Upland and low-land heath, found mainly in the western half of the <strong>Wirral</strong><br />
Peninsula, but with some patches in Knowsley, St Helens and Sefton.<br />
