this February. A Philadelphia native, Hudes<br />

was among the first two women to be inducted<br />

into the Central High Hall of Fame, has been<br />

honored with a Resolution from the City of<br />

Philadelphia, and serves on the board of Philadelphia<br />

Young Playwrights. She now lives in<br />

New York with her husband and children.<br />

BRUCE LUMPKIN (Director) began his<br />

career as resident director for <strong>The</strong>atre Under<br />

the Stars. Under Tommy Tune, he worked as<br />

collaborator on productions My One and Only,<br />

Nine, Grand Hotel, and co-directed the West<br />

End production of Grand Hotel. Favorites:<br />

Dodsworth and Grossingers (world premieres),<br />

Off-Broadway Summer of ’69. WST: La Vie<br />

en Bleu (American premiere), In the Heights,<br />

Grease, White Christmas, Miss Saigon, Fiddler<br />

on the Roof (Barrymore nomination), Forbidden<br />

Godspell, West Side Story, Evita, La Cage Aux<br />

Folles, Rags, Good-Bye Girl, Grand Hotel, and<br />

Best Musical). Bruce has just completed his<br />

first year as artistic director for <strong>The</strong>atre Under<br />

the Stars in Houston, TX. Thanks to Michelle,<br />

Ash and Lyla for all of their love and support.<br />

MICHELLE GAUDETTE (Choreographer) is<br />

excited to be back at the <strong>Walnut</strong> <strong>Street</strong> <strong>The</strong>atre.<br />

Her choreography career began with the show<br />

Texas Legacies in the Palo Duro Canyon.<br />

Choreography credits include: In the Heights,<br />

Grease, Grand Night for Singing (Barrymore<br />

nomination), Aspects of Love, Fiddler on the<br />

Roof (Barrymore nomination), Miss Saigon,<br />

Forbidden Broadway, State Fair, Man of<br />

La Mancha, Carousel (Barrymore nomination),<br />

Godspell, and West Side Story. Regional<br />

performing credits: Swing, Copacabana, La Vie<br />

En Bleu, Evita, Funny Girl, Victor/Victoria, Will<br />

Rogers Follies (national tour), Tokyo Disneyland,<br />

Cruise Ships and nine years as a Radio<br />

City Rockette in NYC. Thanks to Bruce, Ash<br />
