but Emirates cannot accept liability for the consequence 

of the system being unavailable or inoperable. Please

In some cases the problem may be fixed by resetting the 

seat software and the crew can try this for you. 

Airshow 

& Cameras 

Click on the Airshow and Cameras button 

and follow the flight’s progress on Airshow, 

the moving map channel. You can also 

take in the scenery en-route with up to 

two camera channels that show the view 

from the nose of the aircraft and the 

landscape below. 

Use your handset channel up/down button to move up and down the Airshow, 

Cameras and News channels. After you have checked the news or the aircraft’s 

position, to get back to the entertainment home screen from you have to touch 

the screen and press the INT button on the top left of the screen, or alternatively 

press the Audio/Video button on the handset.

AeroMobile allows you to use your mobile phone 

inflight exactly as you would on the ground on 

a growing number of Emirates flights. You will 

be told by your Cabin Crew when this service 

is available, otherwise please keep your mobile 

phone turned off at all times. 

Call and SMS charges are roughly in line with 

international roaming rates and in order to use 

the service your own mobile phone operator 

should have a roaming agreement in place 

with AeroMobile.

Find out how easy it is to chat to someone from the air. Emtel 

connects you via Inmarsat satellite to family, friends and business 

contacts across the globe. 

Four easy steps to make a call from 

your inseat phone 

1. Press to activate the telephone handset 

at your seat and call anywhere in the world for 

only US$ 5 per minute. 

2. Swipe your credit card. 

3. Dial the full international number. 

For example to call Dubai (04) 2144444, dial: 

00 971 4 2144444. 

4. Press to connect the call. Please note 

that seat back phones do not have a dialling 

tone and you may have to wait several seconds 

until a connection is made. 

5. To end the call press or press if 

you wish to make another. Replace the handset 

by gently pulling the cord to release the cable 

latch and allow the handset to recoil into the 

holster. Emirates accepts all major credit cards. 

For safety reasons please ensure your handset 

is correctly stowed when not in use. 

SMS & Email direct from your TV 

Send an SMS or email to the ground and receive 

replies during the flight. Full instructions are given on 

screen. Messages costs US$ 1 to send or receive and 

by entering your personal email address a summary 

of charges will be sent to you after the flight. 

Keep in touch in the Emirates Lounge 

Before you fly you can access free Wi-Fi in 

all dedicated Emirates lounges. 

Seat-to-Seat Calling 

If you feel like chatting to a friend or colleague 

seated eslewhere in the aircraft, check out our 

seat-to-seat calling service. 

To call someone at another seat: 

1. Press the function key and 

press 1 . 

2. Enter the seat number, for example 

to call seat 13B, dial 1, 3 then press 

2 twice. 

To call 138, dial

For seat rows below 10, dial 0 first e.g. 05C

3. Press then wait for the answer. Press 

to end the call. 

To receive a call from another seat: 

1. Press the flashing telephone symbol on your 

tv screen to see which seat number the callis

2. Press the button on your handset and 

speak, press again to end the call. 

3. Press “Reject this call” on the tv screen if you 

don’t want to answer. 

4. Press “Reject all calls” on the tv screen if you
