> A HIGHER LUMEN PACKAGE PER METER
Luminaires installed in a staggered / offset lighting layout generate
less shadow in the lamp socket areas. The overlap can vary from
50mm up to maximum, as given in the table below (optimum value:
100mm). The resulting gaps can be closed using the sliding reflector
cover.
In the case of twin-lamped luminaires or overlapping lamps, please
note that the end of a lamp bearing the manufacturer’s stamp is not
positioned next to the non-stamped end of the other lamp, since
this may lead to a decrease in the luminous flux.
The following table shows lengths for continuous row mounting
plus the light sources required to provide optimum illumination over
the total length.
The METER System is a simplified method for planning, calculating
and ordering system luminaires. Light sources, connectors and
anti-glare devices are included in the reference no.
The number of light sources required and the overall length of each
section are calculated on the basis of the planning data. This is
part of the engineering service we offer. We also offer solutions for
fill-in sections which are usually required at the unlit ends of the
rows of luminaires.
