We are here for you, and will strive to make your event a

dinner or a casual meeting, our team will work hard to 

provide you with personalized and professional service. 

Why Kerby Centre 

We are conveniently located next to the Downtown West – 

Kerby LRT Station in downtown Calgary. Our centrally 

located facility provides an excellent event location for 

organizations all across the city. Kerby Centre provides 

competitive rates and can provide one-on-one service to all 

catering patrons in order to ensure a personalized event at an 

exceptional rate. Our head Chef Garrett Palmer is an 

honours graduate of the Professional Cooking Diploma and 

the Meat Operations & Management Diploma Programs at 

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.I.T).

Conditions for Catering 




When booking is confirmed, a 50% refundable deposit is due. 

A minimum of 7 days’ notice must be given for all cancellations. 

Cancellations within seven days of the event will not be refunded 

their deposit. 

Catering prices do not include room rentals. Please see Room 

Rental document for booking information. Special rates are 

provided for registered charities/non-profits. 

If the cost of catering exceeds $500, room rental costs are 

complimentary, except on weekends. All maintenance and 

security costs, as well as audio/visual rentals will still apply. 

If your event/organization has an independent liquor licence and 

Kerby Centre’s liquor licence is not required, a copy of this 

documentation must be submitted to Kerby Centre a minimum 

of seven days prior to the event. 

Provided the organization has a liquor licence that allows for it, 

all external or donated alcohol will be subject to a $50 standard 

corking fee. A bartender fee of $25 per hour will be charged 

when a bartender is required. 

We kindly request that a finalized number of guests be provided 

to the Chef a minimum of 7 days prior to the event. 

Kerby Centre provides complimentary parking in our North Lot 

and East Lot for all special events. Parking for people with 

reduced mobility is available in our East Lot. 

Gratuities are included in all costs. Kerby Centre does not 

charge GST for catering or room rentals.
