Dear Parents and Teachers, dear Students,
the holidays are over and school activities are in full swing. Student representatives have
been elected and the two new representatives of Secondary School are preparing
themselves for the Student Council training that will be taking place in Singapore on
Thursday, 13 September.
Newly elected SMV-Student Representatives: Simon Steinwerth, Thobias Terhorst (Sec.
II), Sarah Messell, Jonas Neber (Sec. I).
They will be accompanied by the new liaison teacher Mr. McIntosh and our current liaison
teacher Mrs. Bongiorno.
Congratulations to all newly elected ‘Officials’!
New Interns:
Mrs. Jana Reade
Mrs. Christina Bäuerle, Kulturweit
Mrs. Dorothee Amann, one of our new staffs since September 3, will be working in classes
taking into consideration different types of school systems and educational programs.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:
We cordially invite you to the Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for Tuesday 11/09/12
and Wednesday 12/09/12.
Please refer to the schedule below:

Meetings will be held in the respective class rooms.
Enclosed please find the election procedure (excerpt from the Parent Representative
Ordinance, dated 11/04/2011), as elections of parent representatives will be scheduled on
the same days.
Supervision at the end of school:
Please take note that supervision for students will only be provided up to 10 minutes beyond
the end of school. This shall apply to students of AGs scheduled for session 10 as well.
AGs end at 05:00 pm.
Please receive your children right on time.
‣ Dependant Pass:
Children who hold a „Dependant-Pass“ Visa are required to obtain an additional
stamp in their passport allowing them to attend DSKL.
Kindly submit a copy of the dependant pass to our secretariat (in case we
already have a copy of the dependant pass, please submit the additional stamp only)
Your cooperation is very much appreciated.
‣ International Student Pass, Minimum Age 12 Years (not to be confused with „Student“ or
„Dependant Pass“):
Please find attached the application form for the International Student Pass. If you are
interested, kindly submit the following documents to the receptionist at DSKL, latest
by 31 October, 2012. Applications handed in after the deadline will not be
entertained, parents will then have to apply directly at MSL Travel.
The following documents are required:
- Student Pass application form
- Copy of passport
- Copy of "Student Pass" or "Dependant Pass" with additional stamp
