Dear Parents and Teachers, dear Students,<br />
the holidays are over and school activities are in full swing. Student representatives have<br />
been elected and the two new representatives of Secondary School are preparing<br />
themselves for the Student Council training that will be taking place in Singapore on<br />
Thursday, 13 September.<br />
Newly elected SMV-Student Representatives: Simon Steinwerth, Thobias Terhorst (Sec.<br />
II), Sarah Messell, Jonas Neber (Sec. I).<br />
They will be accompanied by the new liaison teacher Mr. McIntosh and our current liaison<br />
teacher Mrs. Bongiorno.<br />
Congratulations to all newly elected ‘Officials’!<br />

Mrs. Dorothee Amann, one of our new staffs since September 3, will be working in classes<br />

Parent-Teacher Conferences:<br />
We cordially invite you to the Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for Tuesday 11/09/12<br />
and Wednesday 12/09/12.<br />

Enclosed please find the election procedure (excerpt from the Parent Representative<br />
Ordinance, dated 11/04/2011), as elections of parent representatives will be scheduled on<br />
the same days.<br />
Supervision at the end of school:<br />
Please take note that supervision for students will only be provided up to 10 minutes beyond<br />
the end of school. This shall apply to students of AGs scheduled for session 10 as well.<br />
AGs end at 05:00 pm.<br />
Please receive your children right on time.<br />
‣ Dependant Pass:<br />
Children who hold a „Dependant-Pass“ Visa are required to obtain an additional<br />
stamp in their passport allowing them to attend DSKL.<br />
Kindly submit a copy of the dependant pass to our secretariat (in case we<br />
already have a copy of the dependant pass, please submit the additional stamp only)<br />
Your cooperation is very much appreciated.<br />
‣ International Student Pass, Minimum Age 12 Years (not to be confused with „Student“ or<br />
„Dependant Pass“):<br />
Please find attached the application form for the International Student Pass. If you are<br />
interested, kindly submit the following documents to the receptionist at DSKL, latest<br />
by 31 October, 2012. Applications handed in after the deadline will not be<br />
entertained, parents will then have to apply directly at MSL Travel.<br />
The following documents are required:<br />
- Student Pass application form<br />
- Copy of passport<br />
- Copy of "Student Pass" or "Dependant Pass" with additional stamp<br />
