college coursework.

5. The grade pOint average earned at Cochise College
generally will not be calculated with lhe GPA earned at
the receiving institution,
ATTENDANCE: POLICY
Eac! I Instructor shall eslabllst1 speclhc attendance cntena
for each cluss and ~hall communicate the policy to
students In Wflling dUring the first week of each semester.
An Instructor may drop a student from class for absences
exceeding the limit stated In the Instructor's procedures
sheet The Instructor may drop the student or
class roster or submit a drop/add form to the Registration
Office. Students dropped by Instructors will rec:elVE~
no refund. It IS the student's responsibility to make up
classroom work and assignments missed while excused
for College-sponsored tnps.
VETERANS POLBCIE:S
A student receiving VA benefIts wtm drops a course or
Withdraws from College is reqUired to report to the Veterans
Affairs Office Immediately follOWing such action. Fail·
Urf~ to report any re(juctlon In unIts or withdrawal from
College may result In the repayment of all money which
the veteran received dUring that semester.
All veterans are adVised to maintain close contact With
the Veterans Affairs Office. Information concerning veterans'
benefIts and procedures may be obtained by contacting
the Ve!(~rans AffaIrs Office
A student receiving VA benefits who conseculively misses
more time ttmr1 tr18 credit hours of the course Will be
dropped by the Instructor. Exceptions wl:1 be made for
tt18 student who makes wntten agreement With the instructor
for missing class beyond the allocated time. A
drop/add form must be processed by tr18 Instructor
through the registration office when the student exceeds
