My Grandfather, <strong>of</strong> whom I have a medallion, having lost money in Peruvian bonds, returned to<br />
India again & died there, when my father was at Addiscomb which was then the military college for<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficers in the East India Army. While my father was in India he took part in actions during the<br />
Indian Mutiny, being in command <strong>of</strong> a force <strong>of</strong> the 27th Madras Native Infantry at Lumptee on<br />
2 February 17, 2004
