SaMASZ company - Leader on the market since 1984!
Owing to our constant investments in modern machines and highly
competent engineering personnel we have managed to become
Poland’s top and one of European’s main manufacturers of forage,
municipal equipment and snow plows.
Since the very beggining we have manufactured and sold more than
80,000 mowers and thousands of other farm machines.
At the same time we have also broadened our offer of municipal
machines.
This includes well-known arm-type mowers and flail mowers but also
a wide range of snow plows.
Our main markets apart from Poland are Germany, Russia, Great
Britain, Finland, Baltic countries and Spain. In total we export our
machines to more than 30 countries all over the world.
Our dealer chain includes approximately 80 companies in Poland
and more than 100 abroad.
In Poland we deliver our machines free of charge with our own
transport means to our dealer points or to individuals as requested.
Our spare parts department dispatches ordered parts and runs our
factory shop at the same time.

Rotary mower designed in particular for mowing small
green areas (e.g. gardens).
Owing to its lowered main frame it is suitable for mowing
in orchards. Applied shorter hitch enables its mounting
on lighter tractors.
Its advantage is low weight and low demand for tractor’s
power.

Z 064 - 1.35 m
MOWERS: Z 064 and Z 010 with rectangular hitches and
replacable pins (Cat. II or I - on request).
Rotary mower is designed for mowing low green forage
on smaller green areas.
Machine is able to maintain constant cutting height easily,
which is of great benefit to grass growing rate thereafter.
Its advantage is solid and durable design.
Regardless of its small size, machine does well whenever
bigger slope is on its way. As all other rotary mowers,
this model is also equipped with PTO shaft as standard.

Rotary mowers from 1.65 m to 2.10 m wide have durable design
and feature high quality.
Owing to low power consumption, these are popular both home
and abroad.
Application of hydraulic lifting assembly (on request) enables
its comfortable transportation at tractor’s rear or side.

Z 010/4 - 2.10 m
DRUM MOWERS
Mowers with tine conditioner have hydraulic lift
applied as standard for mower’s transportation in
vertical position at either tractor’s back or side.
Factory set cutting height (5.9 cm) has good effect
on grass growing rate and does not destroy plant’s
root system.
Conditioner’s advantages:
- few time faster grass drying,
- tedding eliminated,
- less losses in nutritional elements due to
plant „respiration”,
- free green forage distribution
into wide windrow,
- even compaction on balers

Rear 4-Drum Mowers
K4BTC 265 K4BTC 300
The 2011 season saw introduction of new line of rear drum
mowers - K4BTC with operating width of 2.65 m and 3,00 m,
which substitute the current Z 154 in our offer.
New line of 4-drum mowers has central suspension,
which enables perfect ground following and wide range of
inclination to make operation on uneven ground possible. Big
strength of central suspension is even distribution of mower’s
weight onto the ground.
These machines feature spring unloading function of
cutterbar as standard. As an option, mowers can also be
equipped with hydropneumatic unloading function:
Application of hydropneumatic unloading assembly instead of
unloading springs is particularly needed with first mowing, on
seeding lucerne, clover, etc., in order to prevent freshly cut
stubble from damaging. It enables operation with mower
at minimum pressure onto the ground starting from approx.
70 kg. This system is integrated with hydraulic breakaway
safety device, which protects the cutterbar from damage.
If an obstacle is on the way, the cutterbar is retracted
backwards, while being lifted up by approx. 20 cm. Once
the obstacle is passed the cutterbar automatically returns to
its operating position.

K4BTC Mowers can be transported in three positions:
at tractor’s rear vertically in its axis or
in lying position (according to operator’s manual), owing to which
driving with mower is more comfortable, particularly on narrow
roads.

New cutterbar
DISCMOWERS
Basing on our experience and in cooperation with our
clients from Poland and Western Europe, we have introduced
new model of cutterbar to our production:
New design of cutterbar features lowered cutting height,
which is particularly important when mowing lower grass
on 3, 4 consecutive occasions.
Depending on cutterbar
inclination angle the following
mowing heights are available:
Perfect
Precise cutting, high durability of applied materials, protection
against obstacles (cut-off key), quick and easy module
replacement owing to enhanced upper hub are the main
advantages of PerfectCUT cutterbars. The cutterbar is mounted
in all of SaMASZ mowers except for KDL mower with Comer bar.
Advantages:
- very solid and durable 6307 bearings
applied in the cutterbar,
- compact reinforced cutterbar design,
- hardened disks made of boron steel,
- enhanced sliding skids protect the whole
surface of the cutterbar from the bottom,
- smooth mowing height adjustment from 4 to 7 cm,
- low moments of inertia of rotating parts, disks, too -
enable quick acceleration and deceleration of rears,
- stone-safety device as standard (cut-off key),
- innovative quick knife replacement system
(with use of special lever),
- quick easy module replacement owing to enhanced
upper hub,
- high resistance to clay sticking.

DISC MOWERS
Perfect
Despite large cutting width, the value for formed windrow can be
set for 1.5 m. It is of particular importance in case of peat
meadows. Owing to properly adjusted swath guides, the swath is
formed to an even roll while green forage is not pushed into the
ground by tractor’s wheels. By means of drums in the middle
section of the cutterbar, it is possible to form the mowed grass
into two windrows (for 3.40 m wide mowers only on special
order).
In case of very big farms,
it is much more efficient
to use disc mowers, for
these have power
consumption lower by
approx. 20% and few time
higher durability than
equivalent drum mowers.

Cut grass is crumpled with use of two horizontal, spiral rubber
rollers, which rotate in oposite directions.
Advantages of roller conditioner:
- particularly recommended for papilionaceous plants,
- owing to application of rollers stalks are broken with

- roller pressure is adjustable with use of springs,

These have been manufactured since 2008 and have undergone
numerous modifications to meet present day requirements.
Well-proven and enhanced design is a cost saving alternative for
KT mowers.

Setting mower in either transport or operating position, and
for driving over swath is possible thanks to mower’s hydraulic
cylinder. .

H - Hydropneumatic Unloading Assembly
We have engineered the new line of KT Disc Mowers for the
2012 season. Similarly to KDTC model, the KT Mowers have
also central suspension applied. Its main advantage is even load
distribution onto the ground, perfect ground following and wide
range of inclination (up to 24°), which enables comfortable
operation on uneven ground.
KT Mowers have cutterbar spring unloading assembly as
standard. Upon request the mower can be equipped with
hydropneumatic unloading assembly, which replaces the
standard springs and improves overall comfort while operating
the mower.
KT Mowers with a narrow swath guide option:
models: KT 260; KT 300; KT 340
Hydropneumatic unloading assembly:
Owing to application of hydropneumatic unloading
assembly, the operator is able to set the cutterbar load
onto the ground quickly with use of tractor’s hydraulics,
and as a result the pressure onto the ground is always
constant regardless of the ground configuration.
Therefore, optimum stubble protection, clean swath, and
in consequence much better forage quality are obtained.

It is very convenient, that KT Mowers can be transported in three
positions: at tractor’s rear in its axis - vertically or in lying position
( as for operator’s manual requirements , which significantly improves
mower driving comfort on narrow roads in particular.
Central suspension assembly is integrated with hydraulic safety
breakaway device, which protects the cutterbar from damage. If an

Trailed disc mower is factory equipped with
either tine or roller conditioner. Long tiller for mowers enables
operating both at tractor’s left and right, owing to which time can
be saved on turns.
This machine is particularly recommended for mowing vast green
areas.
In addition, trailed disc mower can be equipped with a conveyor. It
enables spreading one windrow per drive onto the previously
formed one or nearby. It is important when harvesting with a chaffcutter
or a large trailer collector - half of drives is then saved.

KDD 941 - 9.40 m
KDD 861 and KDD 941 Mowers are designed to cooperate with
either KDF 300 or KDF 340 Front Mowers.
A double-side disc mower comprises two mowers with central
suspension each mounted on joint linkage. Such solution
enables saving time and fuel when mowing vast green areas.
KDD Mower coupled with a 3,00 m wide front disc mower
is a combination - a 3-mower MegaCUT one (P. 28).
It is a perfect alternative for expensive self-propelled mowers.
Central suspension of mowers encompasses even distribution of
mower’s load on its whole length. This enables better reaction
for ground unevenness, thanks to which the mowing is quick and
clean.

KBK Mowers are perfect for operating on corn, grain and other
stubs.
It has become important lately to mulch corn stubbles, being
considered as an effective way to fight European Corn Borer,
alarmingly fast corn plantation endangering insect. Machines
have been equipped with an opened flap, which significantly
facilitates the mower’s operation and at the same time provides
possibility of free swath distribution outside the machine, what
results in lower demand for tractor power. KBK Mowers have
undergone numerous modifications, which effectively extended
their life-span. Linkage design have been reinforced to handle
even much bigger loads. Mulcher’s internal housing now
comprises two sheaths, where the internal one is made of
HARDOX steel. Flail shaft has been reinforced thanks to

mowing road-side shoulders, road slopes,
greenery belts (inclination between -65° and +90°).
These have solid, thick-walled shaft with flails,
which enables the machine to operate in
difficult conditions ( shredding cut branches up to
8 cm in diameter). The machine is protected from
damage in case of driving onto an obstacle by
hydraulic breakaway safety device - if an obstacle
is driven onto, the device retracts the mower

Rear Arm-type
Mowers
KWT 550 KWT 650
Extension arms are available in two variants, for tractor’s rear as well
as front. KWT mowers are mounted on standard tractor’s rear
3-point linkage, owing to which arm’s reaction time is very short.
Unlike KWT 550, the KWT 650 vesion has hydraulically extendable
long boom of telescopic arm.
Extension arm is equipped with independent branded hydraulic
assembly with oil cooler and 150 liter oil tank. Rotor’s drive and
extension arm control is possible owing to two-hydraulic-pump
assembly, driven through PTO shaft by a multiplier and transmitter
shaft with friction clutch - tractor’s 540 rpm.
In case of driving onto an obstacle, the arm is protected with a
hydraulic pin - it is then retracted backwards while the operator has
enough time to stop the machine.
Controlling arm is possible from
the operator’s cabin be means of
control panel with levers and a joystick.
Link-type controlling of distrbutors
as standard. Electric-type
is also available on order.
Extension arms are adjusted to operate with various mowing
heads (see P. 49).

SNOW PLOWS
All PSV Snow Plows have been equipped with spring inclined clearing
bars placedin the blade’s lower section.
Such solution enables cushioning of the machine if an obstacle is hit,
while switching offensive angle to negative value and slipping the plow
above the obstacle. PSV 161 - 271 Plows have clearing bar, which is
is divided to two modules. These retract independently backwards,
whenever the obstacle is driven onto. PSV 301 Plows have clearing bar,
which is divided into four parts to retract it backwards.
